Switchable Glass WOW’s Opera North!
Pro Display’s Switchable Glass recently stole the show during Opera North’s production of La Clemenza Di Tito. This liquid crystal glass technology was used with the Sanyo XF47 Projector to rear project high resolution images onto a rotating backdrop. When not in use, the giant 6m x 3m screen was magically switched to clear allowing the production to flow seamlessly.
Laura Turnbull Opera North’s Production Coordinator said, “Switchable Glass was the perfect product for the production as it allowed us to instantly change the look of the space with the flick of a switch!”

ITV 60 Minute makeover chooses Pro Display Mirrorvision for Mirror TV
Pro Display (UK Manufacturer of Smart AV Technology) have been featured in UK broadcaster ITV’s 60 Minute Makeover, the episode starring Linda Barker saw the transformation of a family home with Pro Display’s Mirrorvision technology taking centre stage in the Living Room.
Mirrorvision is an optical mirror glass which when combined with an LCD / LED TV creates a screen with a difference. When the device is switched on the images magically appear through the mirror surface, and when the display is switched off the screen surface reverts back to a normal mirror, transforming ambience instantly.
Pro Display director Paul Beswick said he was delighted the technology had been used and it showed how high end products are becoming more and more available to the general public.
